Objectives of the Technical Control Division

Develop and coordinate the training curriculum at ILJTM;

• Managing the Drafting of ILJTM Final Examination Questions and the Energy Commission (ST) Competency Examination;

• Coordinate Professional Certification of Competence (ST, Welding, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, etc) at ILJTM;

• Manage the Student Training and Certification Evaluation System for Human Resources Department Certification, SKM and MQA;

• Coordinating the Accreditation and Recognition of Training Programs (Skills Development Department, Malaysia, Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and City and Guilds UK;

• Managing WorldSkills Malaysia Youth (WSMB) and Instructor (MySkills) Competitions, Creativity and Innovation Competitions (CITEC) as well as Robocon and Robot Challenge Competitions;

• Manage industry relations activities through MoU or Smart Cooperation with public/private agencies;

• Coordinate Short Term Courses (KJP) at ILJTM including modular, customized, Professional Certification;

• Coordinating Special Cooperation Programs with Industry and Funding Agencies;

• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) in JTM and ILJTM;

• Coordinating the Implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO Certification at JTM and ILJTM.

The Technical Control Division consists of three (3) main units which are :-

 

 

  • Planning the Curriculum Unit Activity Calendar;
  • Identifying and Managing the Appointment of the Curriculum Development Work Committee;
  • Planning and Managing Curriculum Development Workshops;
  • Managing Curriculum Steering Committee Meetings;
  • Monitoring the Use and Compliance of the JTM Syllabus.

  • Planning and managing the ILJTM Final Exam Question Drafting and Validation Workshop;
  • Manage the Appointment of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC);
  • Managing the Distribution of Practical Questions and Consumables for the ILJTM Final Exam;
  • Planning and managing the ILJTM Final Exam Question Printing Process;
  • Planning and managing the Appointment of External Verification Officers (Self-Assessment) as well as Scheduling PPL Assignments;
  • Planning and managing Examination and Certification Committee Meetings;
  • Planning and managing Student Certification;
  • Planning and managing Student Academic Appeal Meetings;
  • Planning and managing the Management Review Meeting (MKSP);
  • Planning and managing ISO Certification.

  • Coordinate ILJTM Short Term Courses (KJP) including Modular, Customized, ICT and Professional Certification courses;
  • Coordinating Special Cooperation Programs with Industry and Funding Agencies;
  • Coordinating the implementation and certification of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) JTM And ILJTM;
  • Coordinating JTM's involvement in the Lifelong Program (PSH) under the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM);
  • Monitor and collect Training Cum Production (TCP) information at ILJTM.
  • Manage, implement and monitor industry collaboration activities with the public and private sector through Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and smart collaboration;
  • Plan, implement and coordinate the Youth WorldSkills Competition (WSMB);
  • Plan, implement and coordinate Instructor WorldSkills/ MySkills Competitions;
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating JTM's Creativity and Innovation Technology Competition (CITEC);
  • Plan, implement and coordinate the Robot Competition (JTMRC/ Robocon);
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating the Asean Skills Competition (ASC).
